Flower Study

This was a gift for a friend's baptism. I really enjoyed doing this after focusing for such a long time on people. It was refreshing to do something different. I still really miss oils but acrylics (used in this painting) are beginning to agree with me more! This took maybe 5 days of solid painting. I thought the water droplets would be fun to do... they were, for the first 3 or so, and then they became very monotonous!
